How to Get MIUI Control Center on your Android Phone

Some users think that the Mi control center feature is limited to only Xiaomi smartphones and they can not use it on their smartphones but here they are wrong. You can easily enable this by installing a simple APK file on your Android phone. Follow these instructions

Step1: First, download Mi Control Center App APK file and install it on your Android phone. Enable unknown source before installing any third-party app on your Android phone.

Step2: You will need to allow the following permissions that are required to run the app successfully.

  • Enable Mi Control Center From Accessibility setting
  • Allow Modify System settings for Mi control center
  • Allow this app to Pop-up in the background
  • Allow Notification Access
  • To support dual SIM, allow the permission to make a phone call

I know, I know this app needs to many permissions that raised a big privacy issue. And the truth is, yes! it can leak your private data so if you are careful about your data then simply never use this app or any third-party app. Okay, if you’re the permissions, proceed further to the next step.

Step3: After Allowing permission, you can easily enable the MIUI control center on your Android phone.

(Note: This App has some bugs as it is still under developing process so if you face any issue regarding this app you have to accept them or you can complain to the developer of this app)

Features:

There are many customizations you can do with Mi control center app such as enable dark mode, or you can switch notification style between notification shade like most Android phones have or Control Center like iPhones has.

You can change icon shapes to circle, hexagon, teardrop, etc from the control center. You can more after rooting your device such as heads notification, disable pop-up full screen, disable heads up completely from the system, etc. After upgrading to premium, you can access more advanced features such as background blur, customize transparency amount, change grid columns, tile size, & the number of header files, etc.

Conclusion

As per my experience, I was able to access the control bar however there are few bugs that can be fixed very easily. Take my advice, since you can not trust the Chinese apps, you should never use these types of apps. After testing the Mi control center app, I removed this completely from the Android phone. However, you can use it on your secondary smartphone in which you don’t keep your private data.
